Local members of the Castle Rock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) gathered for a summer picnic in Larkspur on July 7. Pictured left to right are Castle Pines DAR members Janice Baker, Debbie Mulvey, Kathy Erdman and Regent Cindy Cole. Erdman was one of four new members who were welcomed into the chapter at the celebration.
The DAR celebrates patriotism, promotes historical preservation, champions education, and researches family history based on direct lineage to persons who fought in the American Revolution.
